We are a public AMA club with membership open to any AMA member

Phantom Flyers RC Club is one of the oldest AMA Chartered radio control clubs (#393) in the US. This club has a long history dating back into the 1950’s. Ed Henry one of the club founders contributed to the original AMA safety code, and we have one of the oldest continuous running annual aerobatic competitions in the US.

Although we started as an employee/retiree club of first McDonnell Douglas and then Boeing, that ended in 2008 when we severed all relationship with Boeing and became a public AMA club. Today our club is comprised of more than 50%  public AMA membership (no relationship to Boeing).
